Pet Camera

This gadget is something rather different, whether or not it is something worth investing in is up to the reader. This is a camera that captures all images from the point of view of your favorite household pet, especially the cats and dogs in one's life. The camera is light weight and can easily be clipped onto the color. Though I do believe this is something that the animal will not enjoy having around its neck, and would be a rather waste of film. But then again to each their own. If you love your pet, this is a great gift to get. After all everyone needs a camera nowadays.

Radio Controlled Tarantula

This radio controlled tarantula makes me think this would have been a great toy for the kid on Home Alone. Regardless, this is a great gift to give to little boys who would enjoy nothing more than to scary their sister or mom. Besides, if you know someone who is big on spiders or just enjoys bugs in general this would be a great gift.

Self Stirring Mug

Talk about a great product for those that are just that lazy. With the simple push of a button the self stirring mug will stir together that cream, sugar, and any other additions you put into your coffee or any other drink. I suppose if you don't want to dirty a spoon or create additional litter by using a straw, this would be a great product.

Apple Ipod 2 GB Shuffle

Yes, Ipods are great, but don't waste money on a shuffle. If you want the luxury of an MP3 player but don't want to pay that extra for the traditional Ipods such as the Nano's, or Touches, then splurge on a regular MP3 player. You don't need an Ipod. Yes, ITunes is nice. But quite frankly, the way I see it--if you don't want the great looking display, or the great additions that come with the Ipod Touch such as touch screen, wi-fi, and games to download then no point in getting a Shuffle. Shuffles are boring, and are limited to what they can do. Essentially you would just be paying for the Ipod name at the point of purchase.

Droid Series

As you may or may not known Verizon Wireless is giving AT&T a run for their money with their new smart phone line up. Though, the Iphone is still a very descent phone and a very tough competitor, the new Driod series released, has some pretty cool and neat features that the Iphone lacks.
When the first Droid came out, it was rather exciting. The screen is very large, and it also provided the convenience of the slide out keyboard, which I thought was great. Being the accident prone person that I was, I figured if I somehow managed to damage the touch screen, I would still be able to do most things with the phone by utilizing the physical keyboard. In addition, the Android market (which is where apps are downloaded) has thousands of selections to chose from. Unlike Apple's market, the Droid market is essentially a "fair-game" location where developers can upload their applications created. With Apple, they regulate what apps are allowed. The nice thing with this fair game mentality, is that if there is a problem with the app, the developer provides their contact information when it is downloaded, so you may be able to contact them directly with issues. Now with any touch screen phone, the battery life isn't the greatest, especially if you are going to be doing a lot of web-surfing. But overall the Droid series is a very good phone, and it is believed that AT&T should perhaps consider coming up with some other phones to add to their line up.
