Making a Statement With Lab Coats

Who says the professionals don't have to look professional? Well, my in my opinion I would think that if you want to be taken seriously say if your a doctor for example, you need to wear lab coats at work. It shows that they are the doctor and show them respect. They should be honored to carry such a title and be proud to uphold some kind of standard of image. I really don't like it when a doctor comes into the room in wrinkled pants and shirt with no tie. Come on they have to be making more money that I do, but, come on. It makes one think, if they don't care an inch on their appearance what does that say about the care of their patients?
