Your Baby Can Read is a relatively familiar infomercial that promises to keep your child ahead of the game. Essentially giving your three year old the capability to read at a second grade level. What a great product! What more could a parent want than to have a genius child, and one that is far ahead of his/her peers? So does it work?
To put it simply, this product does work...with the help and motivation of parents. Children need to be engaged by adults and the mind stimulated. Based on reading reviews the product works for most kids, but some may find it boring and thus not be fully engaged and not learn anything. The product is poorly made, and extremely expensive. The bottom line is that parents need to be involved, without that...there is no learning. So if you think about it, couldn't a parent do that with anything? Buy three dollar flashcards and Wal-Mart, and believe it or not, engage yourself with your kid, they may learn something.
